
Professional Master’s Application
The following application deadlines apply for each semester:
- Spring: November 1
- Summer: April 1
- Fall: July 1
The application packet for admission to the SEM program must include:
- Completed online application.
- Professional Master’s Degree and Professional Master’s Certificate applicants: On the new application page, you must select the following:
- Degree level: “Executive/Professional“
- School: “Naveen Jindal School of Management“
- Professional Master’s Degree and Professional Master’s Certificate applicants: On the new application page, you must select the following:
- Written personal statement
- Professional letters of recommendation: zero required, three preferred
- English proficiency (International applicants only). Any of the following are acceptable: TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or ELS 112.
- Resume that includes a description of work experience
- Undergraduate degree record in engineering, physics, chemistry, math, finance, or economics (in order to ensure adequate math skills). We require official transcripts, in sealed and signed envelopes, from all colleges and universities attended. - A $100 commitment deposit is required with your PSEM Program application payable here to secure your spot. Upon admission and enrollment, it will be applied toward your first semester’s tuition but is nonrefundable.
- P-SEM Tuition Payment Questionnaire (pdf). Complete, sign, and return to: lori.brannon@utdallas.edu.
- Those applicants meeting the P-SEM program’s basic requirements will be invited for an in-person interview with the program director.

ADMISSION DECISIONS
SEM fall semester classes begin in mid-August; spring semester classes begin in early January. Applicants are considered for admission on a rolling basis.
